If the MOH's of Ontario are going to craft a letter on school openings and cite science I would at least expect them to comment on important work like this one instead of choosing selective evidence. #onted #onhealth @Sflecce https://nature.com/articles/s41562-020-01009-0

Or maybe I can humbly clarify the real trend in Ontario child test positivity which has been misunderstood by sum. The origins of the December rise while schools were open can be debated but why are they dropping fast after the xmas surge and while schools are closed?
My point: The parents, teachers, students and every Ontarian deserve a presentation and debate on evidence for and against school openings, not a one-sided fait accompli letter created to limit public discussion and understanding.
I suspect these open letters are staged and last time the mayors tried one to open businesses I eviscerated their arguments, so please provide the public with the true level of uncertainty on school openings. #precautionaryprinciple
Moreover, the province is opening schools Monday with case rates that are in the 40-99 range. This, despite no public evidence that the previous incompetent level of test surveillance has changed. Cart before horse. Politics before science. Convince me I am mistaken.
