Hindus can’t get a Hindu Rashtra with more than a billion Hindus across the world and more than 800-900 million in India, but some very few Sikhs think they can make a Khalistan out of Punjab with a few million and a single tractor march. Cute.

Punjab’s agri-economy is nothing, I repeat, nothing without the central government’s generous procurement. If centre was to stop procurement for a year, the entire agri-economy would collapse. Just agriculture, not even gonna discuss defence, education, and other resources.

Assuming there was a Khalistan, and that’s as wild as an assumption as that of humanity having a home on Venus, Pakistan and China would consume it in less than a year. The border, the geography, all so vulnerable. Punjab’s biggest hydropower resource is also in Himachal.

The state’s industry is in shambles, fields are nearing desertification, growth is stagnant, youth is without direction, education quality is below average (seen it closely, no future leader too, and no minerals as well, so all those begging for Khalistan are as dumb as Kejriwal.

A country needs an economy to survive. Punjab’s economy is too weak to last as a sovereign unless of course people are deranged enough to believe that their low quality crops will be bought by other sovereigns for twice the price. Centre’s literally helping the state survive.

Two give you an example, recently when the train services were on a halt due to these idiots protesting on the tracks, the state was begging the centre to run trains so that they could have enough coal to run their thermal power plants. But sure, Khalistan.
