Diversity without equity and inclusivity in decisionmaking is PR.

A 'diverse team' where all or most of the decisionmakers are white is, frankly, un-acc-fucking-ceptable.

"What? We have a BUNCH of brown people working for us" is not the power move you think it is. https://twitter.com/HavanaRama/status/1355308912661159938
I am immediately fucking suspicious when I see the leadership of a TTRPG company use infamously vague sentences:

"We are a team with numerous marginalized populations"

If you see that; RUN, don't walk, to their team photos.
But don't do it before you put on some sunglasses or else the light bouncing off their pasty faces is likely to burn your fuckin' retinas right outta your eyes.
There are queer people, trans people, neurodiverse people, disabled people, who are not white. LOTS of 'em.

Quit letting white people utilize the language of oppression to justify maintaining positions of power.
And while I'm at it, if we're talking about portrayal of ppl who face oppression due to being visible minorities?

<----The one BIMPOC person on your team shouldn't look like me.
Jess has also taken the time to break down the pragmatic reasons to do this over in their excellent thread here: https://twitter.com/burst0fhope/status/1355406200951754754?s=20
