Our President signed an EO that now, once again, has declared abortion is in some way a part of women’s healthcare. I’m a nobody on Twitter but I need to talk about why I feel this is so wrong on so many levels.

15 years ago I was of the opinion that abortion was a woman’s right. Our bodies, our choices was something I truly believed. During the Obama Administration my insurance copays were the cheapest if I went to Planned Parenthood so that’s where I went for my gynecological appts.

My first appointment the waiting room was standing room only. There were so many people I had to wait outside. So I stood outside until the nurse called for me and I didn’t think anything of it.

My second appointment was the same. I signed in next to the jars of condoms and again, waited outside because all of the seats in the waiting room were filled. I noticed the line of girls waiting to speak to the girls at the front desk but I didn’t question why they were there.
