I'm certain that these young scientists are fantastic and will make us proud. But the people with the money should consider -at least once in awhile- that really great postdocs might not be able to move to the Coasts or might not have the CV to get a slot at the fancy school.
And for anyone ever wanting a postdoc in my lab, I am sorry for decreasing your list of funding options...
