This is an interesting take on what happened. Let’s revisit the receipts shall we? A thread. Contributor, Chris Chavez writes article about photo theft with link to the photos. https://twitter.com/flogymnastics/status/1355309845218521091
Current Flo employee, then Head of Content, Joe Battaglia is listed as the person who posted the article by Chris *including the link*
Current Flo Vice President- Editorial Mile Split (yes, promoted since 2014!) Joe Battaglia defends his decision with this tweet. https://www.linkedin.com/in/joe-battaglia-492b1033
Female (Gymnastike) Flo gymnastics staff sees the article and removes the link. These events are in no particular order. Just a set of events that happened.
All of the female gymnastics staff from 2014, when this happened, no longer work at Flo. Exception is Anne one of the founders, who moved into different department. The two male content heads & creative director from ‘14, Joe B & Ray M have been promoted. https://www.linkedin.com/in/ray-machuca-b4267aa4
Another way to read this is, all the men in charge of content (and one who defended the publication of the link) were promoted, while the women who did the everyday work, travelled constantly & running the gymnasics channel are
gone.

Fun fact: Chris Chavez who wrote the article with the link, now works at Sports Illistrated. Proving once again that men only fail up! https://www.linkedin.com/in/christopher-chavez-59845249
Everyone makes mistakes. No one should be punished forever. BUT DO NOT
LIE ABOUT IT and hold those responsible accountable.

Flo said “mistakes” in their statement. Could also refer to those “mistakes” as directing traffic to view criminal child sexual exploitation photos.
