WHY #RUNON DESERVES MORE HYPE!!! (a thread)
1. The chemistry between Ki Seon-Gyeom and Oh Mi-Joo’s as characters. Everytime one of them falls further in love with the other, the audience falls further in love with them. #RunOn
2. The script. Not only does it include top tier sarcasm but it also makes you feel exactly what the characters are feeling. You start to smile when they start to smile and if they’re about to cry so are you. It’s like the audience is being qued with the actors. #RunOn
3. Sooyoung and Kang Tae-Oh. Never in my life have I seen 2nd leads steal the show the way they do. They’re both phenomenal actors with some of the best on screen chemistry I’ve ever seen in a kdrama. #RunOn
4. female representation. Not only are Mi-Joo and Dan-A both very career driven but you also see other great examples of strong women throughout the show. Yook Ji-Woo staying an actress despite her husbands wishes, Ye-Chan boxing behind her mothers back, even May is a CEO. #RunOn
5. Female relationships. Despite Mi-Joo and Dan-A not even knowing if they like each other they continue to show up for one other. The 2 female leads have a huge part in each other’s individual character arcs. A lot of their decisions resting solely on the other’s advice. #RunOn
6. Embrace the bromance. And they do. They’re so cute and their relationship has almost zero toxic masculinity. #RunOn
7. diverse relationships. Every character in the show has their own relationship with one another. There will be whole episodes in which characters interact but their main individual plot lines don’t intersect. Which is why it sometimes feels like 2 separate shows. #RunOn
