I wish @fast did more marketing about the sellers that are using their checkout instead of talking about their VC funding and hoodies. The marketing doesn't appeal to actual merchants. Where are the stats and case studies on the website about the merchants are using it?
Just feels like a company that has been built for VC investors, not their actual target market (eCommerce merchants).
Case in point: They've had their product launched for almost 6 months and most (all?) of their "testimonials" are from investors or random tweet. Not a single merchant that's actually used the product in there. Astroturf.
I know they've done case studies since launch because I remember pointing some issues in the data, but they're not anywhere to be found now. I guess it's too dangerous to present the information they're providing to investors to the public because someone might poke holes in it.
