being someone whose primary interest is watching patterns and shifts in sociopolitical spaces, i can definitively say: shit is extremely weird.

folks might be inclined to think things are settling down or over because election. in reality things are just getting started. we’re in a kind of proto- or pre- space i haven’t quite figured out yet where shit’s just flying everywhere. the landscape is shifting.

i can’t explain it because it’s too new and i’m not smart enough to have a deep backlog of existing terms to lean on for context but whatever “it” is, it’s happening and it’s giving me an ulcer.

part of it is likely influenced by this conspiracy theory-driven movement redirecting how a *ton* of people process information still highly agitated & on unsteady ground, and how to navigate around that as they grasp for anything they can to keep hope alive
