I think we don't talk often enough about how times like these-- where the naked rigging of our economy and the inherent unfairness of the way we run our society are on full, brazen display-- are super emotionally difficult for autistic people on a, like, *bone deep* level.
"Unfairness" and imbalance is something our brains HATE. It's a commonly known symptom of our neurotype.

Remember the article from a bit ago about how autistic people are "deficient" because we'll almost always do the right thing over the personally beneficial thing? Same thing.
It's rough when unfairness effects you personally, whether on a small or large scale.

When you come to realize our entire modern society is STRUCTURED AROUND unfairness? Yeah, that screws you up in an *ongoing* way.
You know how a lot of your autistic friends, like, vibrated right out of our skin and into a whole 'nother plane of existence over the past year? Yeah, that's why.

2020 was hard on the fairness processing part of our brain on the level of, like, a RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE.
Like, when people would look at Biblical Angels their brain would melt, or Dionysus' mom saw Zeus in his full glory and burst into flames, or a procession of racists went mad in Lovecraft stories looking at old gods?

THAT'S what 2020 was like for most of my autistic friends.
I don't have, like, a grander point or whatever. The last couple of days with this stonk thing have been harrrd for this reason though, and I wanted to really clue in y'all as to why I might be a little weird...

...er than usual.
Remember though that if you've got money flowing from this whole stonk debacle that if you fancy yourself Robin Hoods and Goemons you can't JUST rob from the rich. You gotta give to the poor, too. I suggest finding some trans people's crowdfunds.
I've been thinking of adding this all day. Doesn't feel super my place to comment on, but it's feeling more and more like a serious blind spot in this thread so:

Imagine being autistic and a person of color for a moment and just stew in that a minute. Racism isn't fair, either!
