Clear structure in our recruitment, buying smarter and for better value/wages (bar Maguire but I do get that one) shifted 99% of the deadwood.. I can understand what they did with sancho last summer
Ornstein said it, United had this unshakable tag of “they always end up paying” with Dortmund being so stubborn I think they used that to get rid of that tag and ultimately we will probably get him cheaper
I know we’re the biggest club in the world etc but you really can’t underestimate the effects of no crowds for a whole year +, it’s not an excuse it’s just reality. Unless the glazers dipped into their own pocket we were never spending big
Years it’s seems like we just freestyled and just picked up whoever was available and threw a big contract at them.. it’s a lot more stable and sensible now. By no means perfect but certainly a whole lot better
Maybe I am way off it but I think when footballs fans don’t get their own way with transfers etc it’s always the board they get angry at then once the season starts and they win a couple games it all disappears and we’re happy again
Anyway I’m up at 4:30 as this fucking pandemic has me working a shit job I don’t want to do but needs must eh up the bastard reds
