You can be seriously concerned about the downsides of lockdown and therefore have some scepticism about lockdowns, but still realise #COVID19 is real, vaccines are a positive and that Bill Gates isn't trying to microchip us. /1
Being sceptical about lockdowns just as being for them are legitimate positions to hold. After all lockdowns both save and cost lives.

Its not the same as #COVID19 spectrum which is based on conspiracies ignoring realities. /2
However, some people sceptical about lockdowns have gone in to bed with #COVID-19 deniers.

Equally too often we become immune to the impacts of lockdown on education, mental health, poverty etc.

Some also bunch together COVID-19 sceptics with those sceptical on lockdowns. /3
I guess what I'm trying to say is their is faults on all sides on this, but I've felt annoyed with those who have been sceptical of lockdowns, or reluctantly in my case back the recent lockdown have been bunched in with conspiracy laden extremists thanks to the actions of/4
Some of those leading lockdown sceptic discussion or those who when talking about lockdown ignore the downsides.

If your wondering my position on lockdowns is similar to that of people like @cjsnowdon. /5
I will also admit for reasons im not going to discuss on twitter im very aware of the lives lost when it comes to cancer due to lockdowns.

I am aware by the way that lockdowns or no lo lockdowns would cost lives and the choices are between two shit sandwiches. /6
Sadly I feel just like with discussions such as on Brexit, trans rights etc we talk over each other and assume the worst of each other and push ourselves in to echo chambers, rather than considering alternative viewpoints. /7
