Australia is receiving blows from everyone

Well, what do we see? Australia is losing the China market for sucking up to the USA, but the latter isn't any more tender for the disproportionate Aussie self-sacrifice. Google is threatening to move out of Australia if it's forced
2/to pay a few dollars to Aussie news outlets.

Australia should show some spine. To Google's threat, Australia could retaliate with "If Google moves out, we will ask Huawei to move back in!! ". Australia should learn from EU, Argentina etc to play between the two sides, taking
3/ advantage of the competition, not hanging itself on the sole tree of the US.

Australia is in a terrible situation now. It has destroyed its lucrative relationship with China. Instead of showing solidarity, US is adding blows. No favorable treatment for democracy's sake.
4/ Google treats Australia exactly the same way it treated China in 2010: "If you don't agree to my way, I'll pull out." France is better treated. Google has agreed to pay some money to French newsmakers.

At this difficult moment, New Zealand isn't mindful of Aussie feelings
5/ either. It went ahead and signed a special deal with the supposed common enemy China robbing the Aussie market share. New Zealand even had the cheek to give Australia diplomatic advice on how to conduct its relations with China: "Show respect... "
6/ While cooling off with the US and Australia, China compensates by getting hot with everyone else. Australia is not so lucky. France has designs on the wine market vacated by Australia. Brazil could fulfill China's need for iron ore. Japan can make up for the temporary
7 shortage with recycled steel. Uruguay can provide Chinese with quality source of protein: their beef... Nobody is giving any consideration to the anti-China coalition of democracies. Australia is being betrayed by everyone. Geopolitics is a subtle game. It's not for simpletons.
