Let’s start off with his introduction to the 49ers. 5-0 as a starter to cap off the 2017 season, including 2 game winning drives. Everybody was hyped heading into the offseason. Best feeling we had since winning the NFC title in 2012-13 szn. He brought life back to our franchise.

Jimmy G led us to:

Our first NFC West title since 2012

13-3 record in 2019 which was our best since 2011

Our first win in Seattle since 2011

Clinched the #1 seed and home field advantage in the playoffs for the first time since 1997(!!!!!!)

24-8 record as a starter for the 49ers

4-0 record vs the Rams

3-1 record vs Arizona

7-1 road record in 2019 including a GW drive in NOLA

In 2019 Jimmy ranked 4th in completion % (69.1%) only behind Brees, Carr & Tannehill

Tied for 5th in passing TDs in 2019 with 27.

3rd in yards gained per pass attempt with 8.4 (just above Mahomes)

Tied for first with FOUR 4th quarter comebacks and FOUR GW drives

At the end of the 2019 season Jimmy and the Niners had us fans feeling something we hadn’t felt in a while. LIFE in our franchise. We were that NFC powerhouse again. NFC West title, NFC Title and a Super Bowl appearance. We fell short, but there was confidence we’d be back soon

If this is the end of your run with the 49ers, thank you Jimmy. We love you and wish you nothing but the best. And if you’re QB1 next szn for us, I have confidence you can get us back to the bowl and get our 6th Lombardi.
