That means hiring, training, and retaining more workers in positions that offer higher pay and pose lower formal educational barriers to entry, including many in transportation and the skilled trades @rpuentes
And it also means connecting more workers to fast-growing careers in clean energy that can address our #climate needs @MarkMuro1
But we have a lot of work to do. Federal leaders need to collaborate with a variety of regional leaders to better measure our needs, form new plans, and help those traditionally underrepresented in the infrastructure space: younger workers, women, and people of color.
