I think this is it guys, Sonic is finally moving away from the "Sonic Colors era" and we are about to enter a new one, here is my evidence! (thread):

For starters the departure of @RogerCraigSmith, it's sad to see him go but if we have learned anything about Sega changing Sonic's VA is that a new voice brings a new era/direction for the series, if they let Roger go they must have a very good reason for doing so (2/4)
And is not only the voice but they're also changing the writers! Did you know Pontac and Graff don't work at Sega since 2019? They worked there for 10 years, same time as Roger and the Colors era, their last job was TSR (3/4)

Last but not least I have many reasons to believe that Aaron Webber ( @RubyEclipse) got the promotion at SoJ precisely to help them build and develop this new direction, he knows the fanbase too well and can provide fan feedback without the noise from trolls and toxic fans (4/4)
I didn't have enough space in my last tweet but I wanted to mention that this is the reason why Aaron has been so close-lipped about his functions on his new position, it must be something big like a new direction for it to be a secret.
