Just want to throw this out there for anyone struggling to find balance in the FF space.
I truly do not miss the grind of trying to “make it” in this community. I see so many people getting started and I’m reminded of what it was like when I first started writing/podcasting. 1/

I remember the excitement of growing followers and meeting so many amazing people. The people truly are the greatest part of this community. 2/
I wish I would’ve focused more on those relationships and less on trying to “grow” in the industry. I take full accountability for my inability to find that balance and inevitably feeling burnt out on the grind. Many I’m sure are much better at this than I was. 3/
The moral of my story is it’s okay to be part of the community and not produce content. Creating relationships and exchanging thoughts/ideas are valuable too. The biggest part is I don’t feel pressure to produce content and I get to enjoy more time with my family.
Just make sure you are prioritizing your life and don’t let this hobby turn into something you start to dread. It’s supposed to be fun.
This isn’t to say there aren’t times I do not miss or wish I wasn’t more involved. Podcasting with my brother @pahowdy was truly such a great learning experience. I also miss chopping it up with my dudes @FFManBun and @JMicCheck and all their great guests on the regular.
Also miss talking to @tacitassassin13 and @klabreck and all the guys on the @DFPNetwork.
I also miss playing in dynasty leagues with @JohnBoschFF and @MattPriceFF
Truly grateful for these people and so many more.
