Dear everyone following me: You can be an average investor and still retire successfully. You don't need to be an expert here.

You just need a plan and, you know, stick to it when the World falls apart so you can benefit in the long run growth of the stock market and economy
I know that's boring and not spicy $GME related but alas.
the biggest mistake investors make is leaving their playing field for a different playing field
OMG look at all those shiny things on that other playing field, wow, maybe I should abandon what Im doing and jump into that fray!!

Perfect chance to ruin your success.
like 10 people will read this thread and care because, sigh.
Let me end this thread on a high note.

We all get FOMO, even people like me who just want to help investors focus on the long run. I'm human too.

You don't need to play dumb games to try and win dumb prizes. You don't need a PhD in Finance to win at this game. Get a plan.
P.S. If you wanna have a little money to play around in markets there isn't a person on here who I respect who would say that's a bad idea.

Having a plan for the long run doesn't mean you can't scratch the "trading" itch from time to time.

Just contain it. Be smart
