Borders mean nothing to viruses & in today’s interconnected world, even stringent travel restrictions are incapable of preventing variants from spreading rapidly around the world. 2/5

Allowing wealthy nations to gobble up vaccines while the world’s poorest countries fight for the scraps is a really dumb strategy.

Trickle-down vaccine access is creating a global Hunger Games that costs precious lives, money & extends the lifespan of this global crisis. 4/5
It’s time for world leaders to start working together to beat #COVID19, the same way that we rallied globally after 9/11 or are working now to combat climate change.
