One thing that feminists are correct about is that "Lad's banter" is mostly used as an excuse to bully and harass innocent people

A gang of juice-head blokes, insulting random people, surrounding them, using their presence to intimidate and impose - "It'S JuSt BaNteR MaTe"

"Lads" are essentially manchildren.

Anyone over the age of 25 who goes around in a group of 10 blokes chanting "Get your tits out for the lads!" is a complete and utter manchild.

Anyone of any kind of maturity just isn't capable of acting like this without cringing internally

Guys like this basically go around in a state of group, deindividuated MAYHEM - and they are completely aware of what they are doing.

They're not oblivious drunk guys who are just ignorant, the annoyance they cause IS THEIR INTENTION

The purpose of their lives is to literally ANNOY and AFFECT others as much as possible. They don't care what effect, they just want to see some sort of reaction in the eyes/face of those they target. It can be annoyance, sadness, anger, it doesn't matter, any effect will do

When you imagine this from the perspective of a woman, why feminists talk about "toxic masculinity" is completely understandable.

Imagine a group of 10 juice heads surrounding you, getting right up in your face, making lecherous comments about your boobs, their eyes dripping

with absolute malice and smugness. Try to reason with them "It's just banter love! Don't take things so seriously!" - tell them to Fuck off, they respond with more mockery or insult you, "fucking frigid slag" - maybe they even grope you. Your humanity is meaningless to them

Most women have had numerous run ins with scumbags like this, that's why they become feminists and why "toxic masculinity" has such explanatory power to them, they literally ALL have had numerous experiences of being targeted and degraded by large groups of men

When a group like this enters the bar, all women think "there's a group whose eye contact I MUST AVOID AT ALL COSTS" - it literally ruins their evening because they can't relax, that's why groups of women often go to gay bars or other exclusive places- men like this are kept out

Lads are manchildren, they are the equivalent of the 16 year old who thinks that getting drunk is "cool" - however this is a phase that they literally never grow out of, often carrying it on well into their 30s and 40s, and these justifications like "it's just banter"

basically give them an easy response to any challenge of their behaviour. They go on lifelong rampages through the lives of others, and the fact that they are manchildren is proven by the fact that they LAUGH at and MOCK actual masculine principles like "honour" or "integrity"

Not that they even know what those words mean, but these are people that LAUGH at the idea of not already being perfect, of actually having to engage in a lifelong process of self reflection and integrity.

Concepts like "consdering the humanity of others" are considered "gay"

They are often only kept in check by either bouncers who deny them entry or kick them out, forcing them to go to places where only guys like this go, like the Benidorm strip, or the 1/2 people in their group who aren't scumbags, who step in when their friends go too far

Because they are in this hermetically sealed "Lad" environment where they never engage in any self criticism, and those who do are ostracized, if no-one is around to keep them in check they often escalate situations in which they don't get their way into actual violence

These are the kind of people who will surround a random couple in a bar, hoot and holler at the woman and make comments about her boobs/arse, put the bloke in a headlock as a "joke", if the bloke responds, either throw a drink on him or kick the shit out of him as a group

hysterically laughing as they do so. I have seen guys like this i) sexually harass a pregnant woman on a plane, and when challenged by her husband, say "it's just banter" ii) push a random guy into a hotel pool, while wearing his full outfut and with wallet/phone in pockets

iii) throw a bottle full of PISS on a random bloke in a bar bathroom, iv) harass a random couple in a restaurant, forcing the bloke to respond "go away", then waiting for him to go to the toilet and then sitting at his table harassing his girlfriend, and drinking his drink

v) grope numerous women as a "joke" - and this is literally just only a SMALL SAMPLE of what I've seen. This isn't even consdering the general low level semi-legal malice and harassment that they inflict on others, all the people they "accidentally" touch or impose upon

the conversations they butt into with dickhead comments, the people they intimidate by surrounding them but stopping short of actual violence

These are the kind of people who throw bricks onto the motorway from a bridge, because "its funny"

Where the feminist analysis falls flat is ascribing this to "toxic masculinity" or "patriarchy".

The real cause of the existence of people like this is actually the Welfare state, the incentivization of single motherhood, dysgenic breeding patterns and the resulting families

While conscientious people who have actual values decide to have children only to the extent that they can afford to, people like this go through their lives just recklessly doing whatever they want and getting the taxpayer to cover the costs

They literally outbreed people who raise their children to be considerate and to respect others.

The resulting anti-social children coming out of these dysgenic council estates then carry on this pattern and have even more children - within a couple of generations the country

is literally full of this genetic refuse, who have not only been raised in an utterly infantile culture, but who are also of low genetic potential, who are low IQ and impulsive, and who are genetically predisposed to recklessness and fecklessness

It is bleeding heart Progressive policies "what about the poor children!", and the promotion of the weflare state that cause "Lad culture" and "Toxic masculinity", not the patriarchy.

An example I often use is Ancient Sparta- a hyper masculine and explicitly eugenic state

Would men like this thrive in Sparta? No, they would be considered "fools", and men like this are what is being referred to by the classical stereotype from antiquity of the unserious "fool" or the drunkard

Men like this thrive in FEMINIZED environments, not masculine ones

Because this is view is considered "eugenics", Feminists and Progressives find themselves in a position where they correctly identify a social problem, but lack the ability to actually do anything about it because they are ideoligically predisposed to dismiss the true solution

The solution being a decades long effort to incentivize the breeding of conscientious people (i.e people who are savers, who live within their means, who come from a family where no-one has a criminal record).

People who actually think learning and self improvement are good

who study history, music, etc - contrast that with "Lads" who are scientifically and historically illiterate and who wear their TOTAL IGNORANCE OF EVERYTHING OUTSIDE OF BOOZE AND FOOTIE as a badge of honour.

Norf FC types who live their entire lives without even a second of

genuine curiosity or desire to learn anything. Who act with ruthless intent to bully anyone who differs EVEN SLIGHTLY from themselves.

And who AREN'T EVEN MASCULINE, they won't engage in a 1v1 "straightener" if you challenge them, they'll attack as a gang, suckerpunch

from behind, stomp your face into the concrete while you're unconscious and actually consider this as a VICTORY over you, and brag about it

These are people who LAUGH at the idea of a fair fight. They're not masculine. They're manchildren, absolute genetic Norf FC scum
