/10 Celtic, having already been eliminated in the Champion’s League Qualifiers are beaten 4-1 TWICE by Sparta Prague in the space of 20 days in the Europa League. While also trailing Rangers by a large margin in the league. Fans plead with the board for a new manager.
/10 As a small set of barriers are erected at the stadium to control protests, Celtic are beaten by Ross County in the League Cup which sees Celtic exit a domestic cup competition for the first time since 2016. Fans go mental.
/10 Celtic erect a “ring of steel” made up of massive metal barriers around Celtic Park to stop protesting fans from gathering at the stadium. This causes huge anger among the support and reignites calls for change at the club.
/10 Celtic lose to Rangers on January 2nd. Leaving them 19 points behind in the title race. Celtic fly to Dubai straight after the loss, despite the ongoing WORLDWIDE PANDEMIC.
/10 With photos emerging of players not following coronavirus guidelines along with photos of the manager and captain having pints at the pool while in Dubai “training”, fan anger at the trip intensifies.
/10 The team return from Dubai and amid the criticism from the media and fans, it’s announced a player has caught the virus, meaning Celtic will be without a huge amount of players and staff for the forthcoming games due to self isolation. Celtic refuse to apologise.
/10 Peter Lawwell releases an interview on Celtic TV which includes a half hearted apology for the Dubai trip.
/10 Peter Lawwell announces he’s stepping down at the end of the season.
