Next week is Place2Be Children's Mental Health week. (1st-7th Feb)

We tend to focus on the mental health of adults but let’s remember the kids are going through this exact same situation as us.
As resilient as they are, they may will be fighting their own wee struggles. Not having the same social interaction with their wee mates as they are used to. Some of them at the end of their primary school education and moving up to high schools or moving from nursery to primary.
These are milestones, they are missing out on a lot and this will affect them, no doubt about it.

This year’s theme 'Express Yourself' were kids and adults will be encouraged to look at ways to express ourselves, Whether that be through sharing feelings, thoughts and ideas.
So why not try some activities that allow your kids and yourselves to express yourself, a wee bit of dancing, art, acting or some dress up and share them with everyone.
Here are some of our wee Kickin' On crew sporting the merch and spreading the message that looking after our mental health isn't just important for adults, but for the wee dudes and dudettes too.
