We decided to do a little napkin math on the Comptroller's attack on a Health Commissioner working during a worldwide pandemic. Here is what we found: (1/X) https://twitter.com/StefanMychajliw/status/1355132277177671681
Using the Comptrollers figures, we were able to find that Dr. B's hourly rate is 97.12 (202k/2080), and her OT rate was 145.68 (97.12x1.5). We found Dr. B worked about 1,256 hours of OT (183k/145.68) for a total of 3,336 hours last year. (2/X)
This means Dr. B worked on average 64 hours per week last year. We think it would be fair to assume she was probably putting in a majority of this overtime after March when the pandemic had started, therefore the weeks since then are probably closer to 70 or even 80 hours. (3/X)
Stefan received an $80,000 last year. On average he worked 5 days a month at 8 hour days equally a total of 480 hours of work last year. This is about 9.23 (480/52) hours a week and since he is salary, about 166.66 (80k/480) an hour. (4/X)
For Stefan to attack a doctor, the Health Commissioner during a worldwide pandemic, is not just idiotic but hypocritical. Stefan made more per hour for being a no show comptroller while too busy losing a congressional race. (5/X)
Lastly, in case the unqualified comptroller sees this and doesn't get the math still, the conclusion is: the $166.66/hour the comptroller got is greater than $145.68/hour the Health Commissioner got. (End)
