I would like to blame GH for the lack of care regarding sexual assault and the PTSD that comes with that but some of the comments re Sam's feelings are disgusting (fiction or not). She has every right to be scared due to YEARS of damage he inflicted on her; changed or not #GH
Saying she was playing victim because people were around, the world doesn't revolve around her, this version wouldn't care about her even with a tumour or that she has no right to demand an explanation. She has EVERY right to a warning/explanation as anyone would in her shoes #GH
It is clear they aren't reverting him but the story is the tumour made him do it and it is in the same place. Even if there is a slim chance he could hurt her or her kids; she has every right to be angry and demand an explanation given we are talking about sexual assault here #GH
The pain of sexual assault doesn't just go away because someone is now changed. He may be different but he will always be that person for Sam. What he did left a lot of damage and scars. Accepting, moving on or expressing sympathy doesn't mean she has to forgive him #GH
She was not playing victim because others were around. Being around him triggers a flight/fight response & the tumour talk brings back bad memories for her. She lashes out because that pain comes to the forefront and PTSD is a complicated emotion #GH
I get people want to defend their favourites. This is not hate on the couple but the comments are horrible re this subject. And despite it all, Sam still manages to have a heart to help the man who hurt her (due to their families being connected) and express sympathy for Liz #GH
