As many of you, I’ve been thinking a lot about @hamletbatista, an inspiring colleague, mentor, leader, friend. I was fortunate to get to know him and call him a friend after being to share many times. 3 words come to my mind when I think of him: Warmth, passion and innovation...
..his wonderful warmth: I always felt it whenever I saw him. His LaTam warmth along the comfort of talking with him in spanish made me feel at home with him. Here we are with @ZephSnapp chatting before the US search awards about everything (!), it was such a joy to talk w/ him..
... passion and innovation: Besides being *the* leader of automating SEO tasks with Python, he was ALL innovation in the way he did everything:

1) He was a pioneer in his approach to SEO with @RankSense, an edge/agile SEO platform/tool that leverages Cloudflare workers to ...
...implement SEO to see results *fast* whenever there aren’t technical resources or flexibility to do so! Here’s a Crawling Mondays interview about how he did it along @TaylorDanRW (another pioneer in this area). He was a visionary!

And there’s more...
... 2) Hamlet was also all about pushing boundaries, also in the way he managed his business, a remote/distributed organization. I interviewed him for Remoters about it, where he shared his inspiring journey as a remote founder...

... sharing how he didn’t settle with the “status quo”, finding solutions in innovative ways with an inspiring passion & ethics in his work in all the areas he touched.

Thanks for your inspiring warmth, passion and innovation, Hamlet. You’ll live forever in our memories.
