The whole "Huh huh look at socialists doing capitalism." is kind of weird. I think a lot of people think socialism/communism is like vegetarianism/veganism- differing levels of personal abstention rather than a diagnosis of the sickness in the system itself.

I am not a socialist because I want to be poor. I don't like being poor. But I also understand it is a condition of our political economy that makes other people poor too. I don't want to just abstain from that, I want to transform it.
(not that vegetarians don't also want that)

I just mean that from an outside perspective it is treated like socialists and communists like poverty or want to be poor. Not the case. We are infuriated because people are artificially kept in poverty for completely unnecessary and cruel reasons.
