When Rahul Gandhi was in his 20s, he could have easily contested local Panchayat / Councilor elections and would have worked for betterment of his village / ward while creating a loyal village level cadre while understanding village / urban economics.

But nooooooo he appears out if think air during 2004 elections and then in just 10 years, becomes the PM face of the nation's oldest political party which was very unfair for other congress leaders who started their journey from scratch & come from competitive local cadres.

We are talking about Congress party, the party that had a lot of money and muscle power. It would have been a piece of Cake for RaGa to win local, MLA and MP elections + combine that with a good PR and he would have been at so much better place.

But then, as someone rightly said, "Gandhi Pariwar ke vanshaj sirf PM election ladte hai". I don't feel bad for his sad state of affairs. INC could have done a better job to launch this 50 years old dude.
