On radicalizing:

I think one fairly universal human concept is 'fairness'. Everyone believes that people should be treated fairly, although obviously what counts as 'fair' (and who counts as 'people') is where arguments arise.

Right now the stock companies are complaining that
what's happening to them is 'unfair', and to them it is, because like spoiled children they're used to getting their way. Even the billionaires whining on TV right now are focusing on how 'unfair' it is that the hoi polloi are fighting them.

Notice this. Billionaire defenders
also base their arguments on 'fairness' saying it's not fair to the billionaire that they be taxed at 99% because they were the ones who took the risks and put in their own capital, etc.

So we have that in common at least, that we both think fairness is important. I think trying
to argue anti-capitalism should focus on this: fairness. workers should get their fair percentage. individual investors should get their fair shot.

I mean the libertarian chuds of reddit are going absolutely nuclear because their principle of fairness has been violated. Don't
get it twisted, the core demographic of wallstreetbets are distinct from the average person who sees a chance to break down the system they see as having unfairly oppressed them for their entire lives.

but in this case, both agree that fairness has been upset and that revenge is
necessary.

I saw a tweet earlier today that had a poll about the ultimatum game. Player 1 proposes how to divide 100 dollars between themself and you, Player 2. Player 1 proposes a 90/10 split. Do you accept 10 dollars or burn the 100 so no one gets anything?
Half the people voted burn.

I would have too. I will absolutely pay ten dollars to teach you a lesson in fairness.

And that's what we're seeing right now. People are dumping money they can't really afford to dump in order to say fuck you to wall street.

So:
Whenever you see the argument happening about capitalism, hammer the point on fairness, and in a way that's more emotional than intellectual. Load that rice video showing just how much a billion grains of rice is. Use the ultimatum game as an analogy.
Help people see that what's going on is not fair, and it's time to make it fair.
also, if it becomes common knowledge that 90/10 splits always result in burning, no one will propose 90/10 splits. ditto 80/20, 70/30, 60/40.
