Taking a break from shit posting to ask: do you focus on growth constantly as a streamer? Is that your main focus 24/7? I ask because it’s been mine, and while it’s paid off, it’s still... unsustainable. For 7 months, I focused on putting out as much content as I could -
If I wasn’t passively gaining followers while I was offline: that was bad. If my average views wasn’t growing: that was bad. If I didn’t get at least 7 subs in a week: I was failing. I’ve been so hard on myself every step of this 7 months journey and now... I’m plateauing.
Yes I’m still seeing growth, yes I’m still seeing interaction, but lately I’ve been streaming more of what I want and being ok with that. Is that... bad? Looking at my numbers it feels bad, but I feel really good doing what I’m doing. I feel happy.
Also I am12039373% grateful for all the support, the bits, the subs, the love, the hex gang, and more. This isn’t a complaint towards my community AT ALL this is just a ‘how do I navigate this as a streamer’ thing.
