[Personal opinion, not buy call, dyor]

One of the reasons I believe in bitcoin over the long term is because it is a direct consequence of the 2008 Financial Crisis. There's the 'to hell with your made-up money rules, we create our separate financial market' vibes which I *love*
In the early days, bitcoin primarily attracts people with the same ideology, unlike now where newcomers mainly treat is as digital gold (not a bad thing)
But I believed the ideology will come up again. Eventually, I thought, the Wall Street fellas will do more greedy things that discredits the integrity of the market.

I'm seeing that playing out now with this Gamestop thing
Will people switch over to crypto because of this? I don't know. Depends how badly it ends up for whom

All I'm saying is.. It's assuring to have crypto when you feel helpless over blatant market manipulation by 'the big guys', who always get away scot-free

End personal opinion
