It's not surprising, really. I wasn't an attractive man. I was 6-5, 180 in 1998. I could dunk a basketball any which way but I looked terrible. Like an ostrich with a bowl cut. I don't blame them.
It wasn't until I crossed the 200-pound mark in 2004 that I entered into about a two-year period of moderate attractiveness. In that period I landed my wife but then I got married and immediately got fat, eating my way out of the attractiveness.
I don't even know what happened to those girls. One got married and last I heard she lived in a trailer in Oktibbeha County, which hey I love Starkville but I mean come on...you had a date with Brandon Fuckin' Walker and you end up with a dude that stuffs deer for a living?
And the other, God bless her. I think she aged poorly. Anyway I took these gals to the WCW events. One of them loved Kevin Nash and kept screaming "Big Sexy! Big Sexy!" and I'm like...I'm right here. Whatever.
Anyway Goldberg was awesome back then and Drew is awesome now. Enjoy the Rumble.
I could keep going if you guys want.
The thing about going to Tupelo back then was that it was an hour away and my 93 Ford Probe barely could make it. Sometimes I'd borrow my dad's Ford Ranger but usually it was just me and her in a Ford. And listen a Probe wasn't sealing the deal back then.
Tupelo had a great mall back then though so we'd go to the arcade and play NBA Jam or Mortal Kombat and I'd run shit on the pop-a-shot before taking a chick across the food court to the Magic Wok for honey chicken and I saw Ted Dibiase there once.
I also saw Sonny Onoo in the mall on the day of Spring Stampede 1997, which was a good event but neither Hogan nor Sting was there, which was bad in 1997. The main event was Savage-DDP and I'm a huge Savage guy. We saw Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner on Main Street before the show
Speaking of Scott Steiner, me and a fat friend of mine went two hours out of our way to the Mississsippi State-Georgia game in 2017 to eat at his Shoney's in Acworth, Georgia. Scott wasn't there but Rick was.
Watch the Rumble.
By the way this is the way I'm going to be reporting wrestling stuff from now on.
