Deeply upset. @normanswan you just threw a whole community of people under the bus by speaking about CFS/ME as "psychosomatic". You KNEW this would cause hurt. You acknowledged it and yet you said it anyway. In a week where I am DEEPLY sad 1/4

My husband got sick 2 years after we met. We've been together for 15 years, he's been sick for 13. We don't have children, we can't bushwalk (heck we can barely walk around the block), we can't go to the pub, 2/4

we miss social activities and the normal pleasures people take for granted.
