Seen a lot of discussion on Matthew Stafford's fit with #49ers. And some asking if a guy who hasn't won a playoff game would be an upgrade. Figured some context on what he's dealt with in Detroit might be helpful (regardless of where he ends up)...
- Since Stafford was drafted in 2009, Lions rank last in rushing ypg, 31st in yards per rush, 29th in rushing TDs.

- Past 5 years, the Lions ranked in the bottom 5 of defensive efficiency in 4 of those 5 seasons.

- Since his rookie year, Lions WRs lead NFL with 350 drops.
Five players in NFL history have a season with 5,000 passing yards and 40 touchdown passes in same year. Four of them -- Drew Brees, Patrick Mahomes, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino -- have won a Super Bowl or been a league MVP. Matthew Stafford is the other.
