okay really quickly going to talk about why y’all need to realize that dansen & nia are good rep and why you really should not speak on them or speak over their stans when it comes to their rep. this has been talked about a lot lately but i wanna get it out to my followers aswell

okay starting off with a common reply dansen and nia stans get to pretty much anything whether it be they placed higher in a poll than sc or sg was nominated for an award because of them. they tend to shoot that down and invalidate that by saying something along the lines of

“oh but they didn’t get any screentime” “oh but they’re not good rep we barely even see them” a lot of the people that say those things are supercorp stans. and if you ship them. i’m not going to stop you but. they literally aren’t canon and the show obviously would not win

an award for a non canon ship. also. i would like to add that an interracial lesbian couple and a transgender superhero on a tv show that reaches a pretty wide audience is pretty incredible rep regardless of screentime. i would also like to say that y’all make it seem like

they’re never on screen which is obviously untrue and y’all are clearly just using it as an excuse to push your white non canon ship into the limelight. and when dansen and nia stans (myself included) attempt to call you out on your bullshitting. many of you always fire back

with the same thing time after time saying that they’re bad rep and are never on screen to try to justify your words against them which i may point out is quite invalidating to those that they represent. also many of you often love to claim that you love dansen and you love nia

but only when it benefits you or their stans are rightfully calling you out. which is very weird and very obvious just saying. also. there are a lot of y’all who claim that dansen isn’t fully developed and they haven’t had enough time to do so yet y’all either stan sanvers or sc

or both. that will never make sense to me. your racism is clearly showing. anyways sorry if this was rambley i’m not the best with words but. i saw so many people today quoting the glaad award nom tweet saying stuff like “why do they have a nomination for their queerbaiting” and

other things like that which is literally just erasing the interracial lesbian couple and trans rep that we get on the show. it’s so weird to me. i think that’s all. i’ll add more if i think of more. again ik this was ranty and it might not all make sense but i had to say it.
