Robinhood is going to be fine. I would be buying the dip if they were public right now
The comms aspect was bad today but their underlying reality is pretty defensible. They seem to have had no choice to delever themselves and users to meet their financial obligations
No other provider would’ve been able to handle things (other than comms) better, I would guess. And users are very lazy and won’t switch in substantial enough numbers. You see this over and over with Facebook
It is mildly shocking how many prominent tech people went after Robinhood and jumped to the worst possible scenario, given how loudly they have complained about press coverage that doesn’t bother to get basic facts right ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
