I genuinely think that White House reporters are broken. https://twitter.com/AshleyRParker/status/1354806002021847041
They were all so amped up to be in the middle of the Trump chaos that they're all mad that Biden isn't acting like Trump. How tf do you confuse work with public appearances?
The president isn't supposed to be the center of attention, plastered across the front page of the newspaper every day. These people are all so used to reporting on the presidency as though they're entertainment reporters that they've forgotten how to cover politics.
Tell us about policies! What work is getting done? Who is doing it? What are the implications of action A vs. action B? What's the argument for or against it? Etc.

Those are things we really need to know. Those are things we aren't getting.
In short: do your jobs.
I keep saying it, but it's really been a shame to watch as the people who screwed up the most in media have all been rewarded with promotions and book deals for doing very little that has helped inform the public.
