There’s this "rule" in fiction : when an event isn’t explicitly shown, there’s 99% of chance that it happened differently in reality (like a character's fake death). Well Historia’s pregnancy is the same, the fact that there wasn’t a proper flashback is a huge red flag. 1/9
Why didn't Isayama properly explained the pregnancy if there isn’t a plot twist ? In chapter 108, instead of showing the events through Historia’s POV (or even the farmer’s POV if he were the father), he told us what "happened" using unreliable narrators : the drunk MPs. 2/9
We didn’t get a proper flashback, but instead, a very incomplete and suspicious one, only showing that Historia went to see the farmer to talk to him. We don’t even hear her asking him to be the father. She could have said something totally different to him. 3/9
So the only "proof" we have right now is the MPs’ theory. Yams is giving us hints by indicating that Historia didn’t marry the farmer, showing the men getting drunk with Zeke’s spinal fluid, Roeg disrespecting Historia, the fact that the farmer has been "checked out"... 4/9
In chapter 130, Isayama had another occasion of finally explaining what happened but instead of giving us answers he made it even more ambiguous by showing Historia asking Eren what he would think about her having a child. 5/9
We understand that the mysterious person behind Historia was in fact Eren and not Yelena, proving that the MPs didn’t know what they were talking about. They’re not credible nor trustworthy people. 6/9
Finally, in chapter 134, Historia is seen giving birth, even though she told Levi and the others that she would give birth in a few months. She lied about the due date. But why lie if she has nothing to hide ? This was the final evidence. 7/9
And now there are 3 chapters left and we still don't know the truth. What happened ?
The fact that Isayama is keeping the explanation for the final chapters is a proof in itself : it's tied to the plot and relevant for the ending. 8/9
At this point it's narrative and storytelling logic more than anything else. There’s no way a talented author like Isayama is keeping this pregnancy mystery for the climax of the story if there isn’t a plot twist coming. It would be disappointing and underwhelming otherwise. 9/9
