The attacks on doctors have got to stop, and they will today. The Ford govt has deliberately set of a chain of events to discredit science and, predictably, it has gone sideways and there will be casualties--the worst of which being trust & social cohesion. 1/4

Like all bad plans, it is transparent and rings hollow and people can't even tweet breaking news properly in this government. And that's a story, but the thing we need to fight for is social cohesion--to not be divided. We need to stay on the path forward, together. 3/4
And why do I say that the attacks on doctors will stop? Because the political cost is far too high to do anything but backpedal. All the damage is done. The angry yelling starts. Division rules the day. And the attack stops as soon as it started, with everyone worse off for it.
