Back in April, I was advocating a federal "masks for all" initiative to address shortages of MEDICAL-GRADE MASKS.

Why wear good masks? Well because the point of masks is to stop the virus. Better masks do a better job of stopping the virus, and we need that because new more transmissible variants are out and about.

What kind of masks?
I wear a KN-95 when I'm grocery shopping or otherwise in a high-risk situation. I find them uncomfortable, though, so use a surgical mask for outdoor stuff where the risk is lower.
But here's an important point: You don't want fake masks!
