If thinking of sin makes us sin, then thinking of Jesus will make us like Jesus. The issue of sexual sins.

I strongly believe that what God has called us FOR is far greater than what He has called us FROM. We have a higher purpose than battling sexual sins and the enemy knows this, that is why he is holding a lot of people in bondage.
The enemy has corrupted many minds such that we try to justify whether sexual acts, such as masturbation, should be considered sin, instead of directing our concern to whether such acts will bring us closer to Christ.
Sin usually starts with a question, and our uncertainty about God's word makes us fall for such. The devil's strategy, where the serpent questioned Eve, is still being used in this end time. "Is it a sin? Is it to stop living a good life?", the serpent asks.
This has put many believers in a state struggle. Great men in the Bible fell and great men in our generation are still falling. The strange woman of sexual sin still gets to slay the great and small.
This is a war that we cannot fight on our own, and we will keep failing until we see the need to submit to God and depend on Him. I also did struggle, and it was until I saw no victory in my effort that I laid it all onto Jesus.
During my struggle with sin, the Lord revealed to me in a vision, in July 2017, to share my journey of finding wholeness in Him after several defeats through a book titled CONQUER.
In this book, I talk about the need for the believer to live in PURITY. The enemy is against our faith. There is a rise in sexual perversion. Why? Because like in the Garden of Eden, the enemy keeps showing us the forbidden tree and he is deceiving us to eat of it.
There is no denying the fact that we live in a sex-crazed world. Everywhere you turn, one is faced with something related to sex. Like Eve, once we look, we will want to touch, once we touch we will want to eat. This is the struggle.
The devil will always tempt us. Like He did to Jesus, he will also tempt us to fall with a deception that the angels will 'catch' us. He makes provision for us to fall by misinterpreting Gods' word and since some of us don't really know Gods' word,
we now define sin in the fulfillment of the act and not the process involved, so we have grown comfortable with certain acts such as fondling, leaving us in thirst for more.
In some instances, our desires are not exactly the problem. It is the enemy's prodding to have us illegitimately fulfill such desires. Sex was created by God for married couples. However, it's being projected in almost every channel of communication, disrupting its purpose.
Those who have a past with sexual sin are finding it difficult to escape, while some who have never involved themselves in such acts are also struggling to stay on the righteous path. Truth is, the journey of staying pure is becoming challenging.
How then do we fight addictions?
This is a war that is won on the strength of God. We must be willing to surrender and depend on Him.

As people struggling with sin, we can't be saved by our efforts just as we can't be perfected through any righteous acts of our flesh. Therefore, in confronting addictions we must deal with it holistically by addressing the flesh, the world and the enemy- Satan.
I share a lot in my book, CONQUER. This is a book the Lord led me to share to help many believers. I am of the view that the Lord wants to amplify the message of purity in these last days.
We must prepare for His coming. While prayer is a necessity for us as believers, purity will be the catalyst to help us manifest our priestly assignments on earth.
Brethren, what was considered abnormal is being normalized and people will find defense to every ill. It is only logical for the devil to do his worst when his time is about to end. In these last days, sin will surge. Sexual perversion and immorality will rise even much
more than we see, but the Lord will cause it to fall greatly and He will awaken men to restore, revive and reposition others for His coming. He will empower us to intercede and wage war for those under the enemy's deception.
I also shared this message in a spoken word album. I wrote it all out of love and in a response to a vision I had, not to condemn but to reveal the purpose of God for my generation and beyond. In Christ, we are more than Conquerors and through Him we will CONQUER.
