In the last year, young people punked a presidential campaign into thinking millions would show up at a rally and manipulated a stock, toppling hedge funds.

If you don’t think society is going to experience significant change in the next 20 years you may not be paying attention.
Let me expand on this a bit.

What we are seeing is that those under 30 take unique, black swan type approaches to problem solving.
They grew up in a world of technology and video games, and they use the skills (yes, skills) to tackle problems in way boomers and even Gen-Xer’s can’t really imagine.
On top of that, they use social media to catalyze organic, grass-root action. Neither claiming free tickets to a presidential campaign or buying stock was a centralized action. It was hundreds of thousands of individuals acting according to a call on social media.
There was no organization, no institution, no unified ideology behind either event. And yet, it caused massive disruption in what is deemed ‘normal.’

And then, they don’t believe that those on the ‘top’ are really in control.
They see the world as a game, and they’re gonna play it to win. As these young adults age and come to positions of power and influence, these skills, values, and ways of being aren’t going to go away. Just the opposite. They are going to become more dominate in the culture.
So yeah, everything is going to change.
