Gamestock and Horsehead Holdings: a thread.

A few years ago, a company I had invested in, Horsehead was the subject of a vulture attack by large New York hedge funds.

In spite of enormous value on the table, the vulture funds claimed that the company was worthless.

The judge in the case famously claimed, "Something smells fishy to the court".

Now a similar set of funds try to take out Gamestop.

It's not exactly the same set of funds. Or exactly the same tactics. Or exactly the same set of people.

But it's similar enough.

I have no dog in this race - I'm not long or short, and don't plan to be.
