With very short notice of deliveries and one of the two vaccines having a shelf life measured in hours not days, we’ve had to be quick on our toes! A few folk have asked how we’ve been so successful at calling thousands of patients in at short notice...here’s another thread! 1/4
Proactive phone calls have been essential, we haven’t got time to send letters, so teams of experienced staff (working overtime on their days off, the legends!) phone our patients and book them in. We’ve focused calls where patients don’t have a mobile phone number.... 2/4
There’s only so many calls you can make...it takes 10-15 mins to run through the information we need to check...so we’ve also leveraged tech to securely empower patients with a mobile phone and who wish to self book. We do “batch uploads” to add volume to clinics... 3/4
For those bulk invited that don’t respond, we send individual invites to try and support them (about a 80% success rate!). Glitches and errors often put folk off, we can help troubleshoot and build confidence. Myth busting and supporting informed choice is important. Simples! 😊
