1/4 We see now that the @GOP has turned into the party of #MAGA domestic terrorists after causing an #Insurrection Jan 6th, but did you know they did the same thing in 1933 after 3 successive GOP admins caused the Great Depression in 1929?

2/4 Republicans resented FDR taking over and instituting the New Deal that saved America (you may have heard Paul Ryan talking about ending the New Deal again - it's a fav topic of his). This was before WWII and Hitler was popular in America, esp. with conservatives.

4/4 McCormack–Dickstein Committee investigated on November 20, 1934, but after ONLY 4 days, FDR ultimately decided that it was "best for the country" if we just ignored the incident.. like the @GOP wants us to do again!

One thing that must be said, Republicans have only ever legislated democratically when they were FORCED to do so. The reason the @GOP is happy with #MAGA terrorists now is because they've always wanted to take autocratic control. The UNDEMOCRATIC GOP must be ended PERMANENTLY!
