This pandemic really has been a microcosm of all that's wrong with internet commentary (Twitter obviously, but also across media). Responses to this are interesting as most suggest errors are right-wing commentators or govt, rather than reflecting where own biases are wrong. https://twitter.com/Dorianlynskey/status/1354719520221487104
I've probably spent more time thinking about things where I just don't know the answer than having definite opinions. Eg I have no idea where the line is between the media holding govt to account for it's failings and media undermining confidence in govt public health messages.
I do know it's more complicated than anyone who confidently says it's definitely one or the other though. It's definitely followed from Brexit - things are either good or bad, rather than a set of complicated interdepencies where the concept of good or bad are irrelevant.
And there's a default (see fishing for eg) where watching people's industry fail becomes their fault for not reading everything and trusting a limited set of sources. Not everyone reads everything, and they choose things they believe, as do most people.
A little humility and, more important than accepting you're wrong, accepting you don't know would go a long way to making the internet a slightly more pleasant place for discussing politics and society.
