โAnd your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age (while) with you, say not to them (so much as), โuffโ, and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word.โ (QS. Al-Isra : 23)
โAnd lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, โMy Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up (when i was) small.โ (QS. Al-Isra : 24)
โThey ask you, (O Muhammad), what they should spend. Say, โWhatever you spend of goods is (to be) for parents and relatives and orphans and the needy and the traveler. And whatever you do of good โ indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.โย ย (QS. Al-Baqarah : 215)
A man asked the Prophet(PBUH)
โO Rasulullah, who are among all human beings should I interact more properly?
โO Rasulullah, who are among all human beings should I interact more properly?
โ The Prophet replied, โYour motherโ He asked again: โThen who else?โย The Prophet said : โYour motherโ The man repeats his question: โThen who else?โ The Prophet replied: โYour motherโ He repeated the question again: โThen who?โย Rasulullah SAW answered: โYour fatherโ.
A Hadith Narrated by Abu Dawud
โO Rasulullah, is there still a way of devotion to parents after they die?
โO Rasulullah, is there still a way of devotion to parents after they die?
โ He replied, โYes, by praying, asking for forgiveness for them, carrying out their will, connecting relationships that can not be connected except their way and glorifying their friends.โ
