Someone please help me understand

Yesterday I took out an airtime currency loan of 250 from Safaricom's Okoa Jahazi. But the message says the debt was 500. Today I purchased 500 airtime via Mpesa and the whole amount was deducted to repay my airtime loan. How come?
@Safaricom_Care math doesn't add up
You have received 225.00 KSH. The fee is KSH 25.00.Your Loan is 250.00 KSH to be paid by http://2021-02-01.Total

Okoa debt is KSH 500.00.Dial *131*0# for more details

OK. Issue resolved. I scrolled my messages to find out I had another 250 Bob Okoa Jahazi loan from Sunday https://twitter.com/pesa_africa/status/1354704298723184641?s=20
Safaricom customer support confirms it too. Which proves the point its poor accounting and budgeting issue.
Ideally, Safaricom should be helping me make better financial decisions by helping me keep track of my loans and airtime expenses.

But they are predatory shylocks. Happy to lend you more without mentioning you have prior loans. Probably trying to make more revenues
I describe the core problem here https://twitter.com/pesa_africa/status/1354694750520160261?s=20
They ought to do better in helping us subscribers keep track of our total mobile phone subscriptions expenses - airtime, data, loyalty points, Mpesa, loans, pochi ya biashara, fuliza, mshwari (see what I mean about overloading the wallet?!)
Now I have to scroll my messages with a calculator pen and paper to work out how much I owe to wj and whether the next Mpesa that checks into my wallet will be deducted

@Sitoyo 3/10 to you and your product team for this poor customer experience
Unless it was intentional by your product team @Sitoyo in that case you and your people are no different from the predatory digital lenders of yester years. Shame on you!
Mobile subscribers IN Kenya live under Safaricom's and Mpesa's tyranny. Safaricom has every media publisher in its back pocket, so that consumer pains like this thread never see the light of day
B/c Safaricom is a big spender on ads, press and marketing. Media publishers risk losing ad dollars for not toeing the party line
