5) But because of SKY News, we now have a situation where the Treasurer, who is Jewish, is given equal billing with an open Neo-Nazi collaborator. When I talk about the extreme degradation of the media and political fabric in Australia, this is what I mean.
6) I have stopped tweeting about this for the most part, not because I think it's not important, but because (with a very small number of exceptions) the response to this kind of thing - no matter how extreme the limit case - is a humiliated silence. It is unreformable.
7) Ted Lapkin - Ted Lapkin! - a guy so right-wing he resigned from the Liberal Party when Turnbull became leader, is a more reliable anti-racism ally than the overwhelming majority of people in Australian public life.
