Flawless production and Freddie is everything you would expect and more in my opinion he is one of the best of our generation and this album feels like the album to put him on the map as someone to be in that conversation and he ain’t done
Flawless production and Freddie is everything you would expect and more in my opinion he is one of the best of our generation and this album feels like the album to put him on the map as someone to be in that conversation and he ain’t done
Such soulful production one thing that makes me like this so much more than Bandana is that I feel Madlib is more prominent on this giving his own moments of brilliance all over while Freddie raps his ass off such great chemistry
7. For Emma Forever Ago By Bon Iver
I was floored when I heard this for the first time a sound of pure pain his voice is not conventional at all which makes for a more interesting listen you can’t even tell what he is saying at times but it still evokes so much emotion
I was floored when I heard this for the first time a sound of pure pain his voice is not conventional at all which makes for a more interesting listen you can’t even tell what he is saying at times but it still evokes so much emotion
It feels almost isolated when I listen to this album I feel a since of disconnect from everything around me crazy how a sound so minimal can be so complex in its own ways an unforgettable first listen and an unforgettable album
6. To Pimp A Butterfly By Kendrick Lamar
Yup it had to be here lol I don’t think there is a single thing I can say abt this album that hasn’t already been said saying that the amount of headaches trying to break this down is crazy no album has ever entertained me I’m that way
Yup it had to be here lol I don’t think there is a single thing I can say abt this album that hasn’t already been said saying that the amount of headaches trying to break this down is crazy no album has ever entertained me I’m that way
U is a song that is so complex yet so simple it hurts listening to him rap tho I don’t relate to the content the moments where your brain takes over with negativity is something that hit me crazy hard his brain slowly going further and further into eventual suicidal thoughts
5. The Archandroid By Janelle Monae
She uses every genre and any genre she could ever want sending you to a futuristic world with the same problems caused in different ways it’s so grand yet still has the ability to play with your emotions
She uses every genre and any genre she could ever want sending you to a futuristic world with the same problems caused in different ways it’s so grand yet still has the ability to play with your emotions
One thing abt this album I didn’t realize abt this album is how good the track list is changing feelings every instant keeping you constantly on your toes it’s an hour and 8 minute project but it feels like 30 minutes such a special project that will be in my rotation forever
4. Circle By Mac Miller
Fuck me I have talked abt this album so much on here idek what to say anymore lol Mac Miller’s final words are something that are recorded on here or so it feels like Good News is a song incapable of getting old and this whole album is just perfect

A bit all over the place this album can almost feel like scattered thoughts that can be interpreted as giving up or finding hope I just find this album as a feeling of acceptance from him making it gut wrenching to listen too
3. Madvillainy By MF DOOM & Madvillain
Imo The Best Hip Hop Album Ever the chemistry between these two is fucking insane I have so many memories turning up to this shit and nerding out abt lyrics its so entertaining and fun
Imo The Best Hip Hop Album Ever the chemistry between these two is fucking insane I have so many memories turning up to this shit and nerding out abt lyrics its so entertaining and fun
It feels like Madlib is just doing whatever the fuck he wants while DOOM raps so intricately the difference is what makes the chemistry so great something crazy abt this album is there isn’t a single hook yet its so entertaining that is really some revolutionary shit lol

1. Taboo By Denzel Curry
HUGE SHOCK lol this album in my eyes is absolutely flawless the three acts Zel takes you through are so relatable all in there own ways Light focusing on things or ideas for happiness really being false means Grey being such a pessimistic look at life
HUGE SHOCK lol this album in my eyes is absolutely flawless the three acts Zel takes you through are so relatable all in there own ways Light focusing on things or ideas for happiness really being false means Grey being such a pessimistic look at life
Looking at life through such realistic views finding a middle ground between positivity and negativity the dark being full of hatred and anger almost feels like all these pent up emotions caused Zel to lose his temper on the final third this album is what got me into hip hop
If y’all read the whole thing Ty so much
and also ty to all who retweeted
