In that it was possession based football with not enough end product.
I did like the security in the game we had. We never looked in trouble tonight. A solid base is essential for any successful team.

Looked a lot today like a 3-4-2-1 system, not seen it much before but I liked it if I’m honest and within that system we allowed players to play to strengths...

One major thing that stood out is we are a FAR BETTER team with Mason playing. I honestly can’t see how anyone can disagree with that but I’m happy to chat with anyone who would like to argue the point.

But that being said, Kovacic was excellent tonight. Won’t go into it but the fact he’s not played like that this season makes me suspect foul play behind the scenes from him but we’ll move on.
IMO we need 12pts from next 4 games now or top 4 is gone...

Before, during and after the game. I think he can do well here but he will be held to the same standards if not more as Frank by the board and I hope for his and the teams sake he’s up to the task and the players pull together and push forward...
Which is probably what a lot of yesterday’s Twitter activity was linked to.
